Fix Hacked Drupal websites
In April 2018, two serious security issues in Drupal were announced. These issues affect Drupal versions 6, 7 and 8. Any sites that have not been updated with fixes for these issues are most likely compromised by now. The potential damage from someone taking advantage of these issues include defacing your website, installing a back door for attacking other sites and ransomware.
If your site has been hacked, or if your site has not yet been updated with both patches, please contact us. We can help you clean your website, and then host the site securely after that. All sites on our Managed Hosting service for Drupal were patched within the first hour of the security updates being released.
Even if your site appears to be functioning with no problems, there is no guarantee that it has not been compromised in some way. A common sign you've been hacked is the appearance of an unusual PHP file in the main directory for your Drupal site, although it will not always be this obvious.
Not sure if you're vulnerable? Worried you've been hacked? Just want to make sure your site is OK?
